1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only after we have received your deposit payment and sent you a written confirmation. A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due 60 days before your tour start date.
2. Pricing
All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices include park entry fees, accommodation, meals as specified, transport, and professional guide services. Prices are subject to change due to government park fee increases or other factors beyond our control. Once a booking is confirmed, the quoted price is guaranteed.
3. Cancellation Policy
- 90+ days before departure: Full refund minus $100 administration fee
- 60-89 days before departure: 75% refund
- 30-59 days before departure: 50% refund
- 15-29 days before departure: 25% refund
- Less than 15 days before departure: No refund
Cancellations must be made in writing via email. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
4. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory for all our tours, especially for Kilimanjaro climbs. Your insurance must cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation (including helicopter rescue for mountain climbs), and personal belongings. Proof of insurance may be requested before your tour begins.
5. Health & Fitness Requirements
Certain tours, particularly Kilimanjaro climbs, require a reasonable level of physical fitness. It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to participate. We recommend consulting your doctor before booking. You must disclose any medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely.
6. Itinerary Changes
While we make every effort to follow the planned itinerary, changes may be necessary due to weather conditions, road conditions, wildlife movements, or other circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify routes, accommodation, or activities to ensure your safety and the best possible experience. No refunds will be given for itinerary changes made for safety reasons.
7. Liability
We act as an agent for hotels, lodges, transport companies, and other service providers. We are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or delay caused by the actions or negligence of third-party providers, natural disasters, political unrest, or other force majeure events. Our liability is limited to the tour price paid.
8. Wildlife & Nature
Safari and nature tours involve inherent risks associated with wildlife encounters. Participants must follow all safety instructions given by guides. We cannot guarantee specific wildlife sightings, as animals are wild and free-roaming.
9. Photography & Marketing
We may use photographs and videos taken during tours for marketing purposes on our website and social media. If you do not wish your images to be used, please inform us in writing before your tour begins.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
